Do Something Now!

From now until the end of March the students have been challenged with collecting gently used clothing and shoes and non-perishable foods to donate to a local non-profit. All sizes are welcome. Parents, siblings, and friends are encouraged to join in. In order to have some fun with this, we are having a contest between Sr. High, Jr. High, and the Leaders to see who can collect the most items.

(Please make sure you are on time for the 7:45am drop off and dressed ready to work)

This is going a weekend that challenges the students to look past themselves and see the true needs that are around them. Too often we get caught in our own bubble and our own routine and we miss seeing the needs and issues that we can do something about. It is time we take a STAND for those less fortunate.

We will be serving our community Sat morning in partnership with SERVERIE. We will then come back to the church and have some time of fun and games. In the evening we will have a worship service and then be challenged to share our faith through the movie Soul Surfer.

If you are unable to attend, please be in prayer for the weekend as we are believing that God will really move and transform lives.
