Good Things

I want to encourage everyone to Trust God. It's very easy in our very busy everyday lives to forget that God loves us and has good plans for us. We start relying on ourselves, try to life our way...the way we think it should be done, and the devil comes along and tells us little lies about how God will let us down. We stop understanding that our God is Love, He's good, and He has the world in His hands. The devil is a defeated enemy who acts tough, but is a coward.

Listen to this:

Psalm 37

1 Don’t worry about the wicked
or envy those who do wrong.
2 For like grass, they soon fade away.
Like spring flowers, they soon wither.

3 Trust in the Lord and do good.
Then you will live safely in the land and prosper.
4 Take delight in the Lord,
and he will give you your heart’s desires.

5 Commit everything you do to the Lord.
Trust him, and he will help you.
6 He will make your innocence radiate like the dawn,
and the justice of your cause will shine like the noonday sun.

7 Be still in the presence of the Lord,
and wait patiently for him to act.
Don’t worry about evil people who prosper
or fret about their wicked schemes.

8 Stop being angry!
Turn from your rage!
Do not lose your temper—
it only leads to harm.
9 For the wicked will be destroyed,
but those who trust in the Lord will possess the land.

10 Soon the wicked will disappear.
Though you look for them, they will be gone.
11 The lowly will possess the land
and will live in peace and prosperity.

God loves us and if we will love him, delight in him, and trust him that He will take care of us, then we will see the goodness of God explode in our lives. I don't care if your family is completely messed up or you've had the worst year of you life in school or you have no friends.

Listen God's word never fails. He always thinks good things about us. If you will set your heart on Him, He will turn your situations around and unleash all His goodness on you. I mean think about it, if you know Jesus, Heaven is already in your heart! There's nothing lacking or evil in Heaven.

Be encouraged right now. Let God's love speak to you and bring you true joy in your heart.

The Dancing Hippo

What's all my peeps?! Ok so 16 people voted on the poll question...

"How Smart Are You? There is a Green Glass Door. I can take a Pillow through the door and I can take a kangaroo as well. What can you take? Pic an answer. There is only one"

The correct answer is The Dancing Hippo. The reason is because only things that have double letters can go through the Green Glass Door. A Hippo has two "P's" Congrats to all you who guessed the right answer! For the two people that said I can go through the door, thanks for your loyalty whoever you may be. Hahaha.

Waterbed Practical Joke

This is pretty funny! The end is the funniest!

The First Question

Hey Everyone! So we have our first question in the student life area. It was from Dan. The question is, "Do I drink soup or eat it?" Haha...great question. I drink it with a straw... no actually it depends greatly on the soup. I usually do both. If it's full of stuff, like vegetable, I eat it. Once the food is gone I drink the broth, though sometimes I dip bread in it so then there is more eating. If it's tomato soup I just slurp it with a spoon, unless I have a grilled cheese sandwich. Then I do the dipping thing again. MMMMMM.... I love soup.

Now that that's squared away send me more questions. Who knew soup could be so complicated?
